The Face In The Flames
Match to the wood
Slowly, it burns
Conjure the demon
No one else knows.
Ascends to the living earth
Upwards it stretches
Reaching and caressing the sky,
Dancing the eternal dance
Turning, sways to the unheard rhythm
Of life and death combined
Entwined without a care.
Ever consuming,
Exhaling nauseous fumes
Silver spirals,
Twists through the air
Take away the mask
Reveals its face...
Red slits burning
Golden orbs glowing
Bronze skin shimmering
Auburn hair flashing
Nostrils flaring
Lips part
The voice roars
Rises, and falls
With the dying destruction
Gives a sinister smile,
Fades away,
Ever watching the world -
The Face in the Flames
